Reading

Check out this great site. I have used it in tutoring, my classroom, and I have shared it with parents, along with my friends and family who are using it at home to help with their child's reading along with growing a love for learning!

My great classroom

Little Moments that keep you going..

No matter the stressful days, the good days always keep me going. Rather it is a student finally understanding the topic we are covering, some one wants to give you a hug or draw you a picture, tells you they love you, or a parent sends a note saying they are happy with their student's teacher.

I had a half day today, because I had an afternoon videoconference over paper work. I always tell my students the day before and that morning to make sure they are perpared since I know how some of my students deal with change. Plus, I want them to know that even though I am not there, I WILL find out how they acted. Well, they had forgot I was leaving at 11:30am, I even forgot to tell you the truth. When the sub came to my class my students were upset that I was leaving. One was even upset that I would not be eating lunch at school so he could dump my tray.A few  were even concered with me leaving my coffee cup, they know me so well :-)! I enjoyed the information that I learned and getting home earlier than normal, but I sure did miss spending the afternoon with my students! I am so blessed and happy that I have a great T.A. to help me, help my students, and be there for the sub when I am not there! :-)
